- All projects must be completed, and funds spent, within one year of receiving the grant.

- The Grand Slam Awards fund capital purchases that help nonprofits deliver services more effectively. A vehicle can qualify if it directly supports the organization’s mission and improves how services reach clients.
- Examples include:
- Mobile medical units bringing care to underserved neighborhoods

- The proposal should explain how the vehicle increases capacity, improves efficiency, and benefits the community in measurable ways.
- Projects should include a plan for how the vehicle will be sustained and maintained after the funding year.
